Position Summary
The Inventory Control Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining accurate inventory levels for the warehouse, ensuring timely receipt, stocking, and shipment of materials, and supporting operational efficiency. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts through regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation.
  • Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect materials for damage.
  • Stock, organize, and label inventory in designated storage locations for efficient retrieval.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper packaging.
  • Track inventory levels and communicate shortages, overages, or discrepancies to management.
  • Support counter sales with inventory pulls and product knowledge when required.
  • Maintain warehouse safety and cleanliness in compliance with FEI safety protocols.
  • Assist with developing and enforcing inventory control procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED; 1–3 years’ experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or related field preferred.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 75 lbs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic math and counting skills required.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of the fire safety industry (fire alarms, sprinklers, extinguishers) a plus.
  • Forklift certification preferred, or willingness to be trained and certified.
